The synthesis and application of (multi)functional nanomaterials require advanced characterization tools. This symposium focuses on advanced imaging techniques, including magnetic, electronic, and chemical in-situ/operando characterization of nanomaterials at the nanoscale and down to the atomic scale. By bringing together scientists from synthesis, application, and characterization fields, we aim to foster discussions and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
