The symposium will highlight recent advances in the development of novel catalytic materials for sustainable chemical processes. Focus will be placed on the rational design, synthesis, and characterization of nanostructured catalysts with enhanced activity, selectivity, and stability. Contributions will address strategies to improve resource and energy efficiency in key transformations, including CO₂ utilization, green hydrogen production, and biomass conversion. Particular attention will be given to structure–property relationships, modeling, and advanced characterization techniques to understand catalytic mechanisms. The symposium aims to provide a platform for discussing how innovative catalytic materials can support the transition toward a net-zero and sustainable future.
