Genova has a small city airport with direct flights to major European cities. Instructions to reach the city center from the Genova airport can be found here.
Alternatively, you might consider flights landing in Turin or Milan and reaching Genova by train.
Genova has two main stations, both close to the city center: Genova Piazza Principe and Genova Brignole.
These are connected by direct intercity trains to Milan (1h 30min) and Turin (2h).

In case you choose this option, we encourage you to contact your hotel in advance, as finding parking spots in the city center can be challenging.
AMT runs public transport in Genova (buses, metro, funiculars, and lifts), as well as the airport bus "Volabus" and the ferry "Navebus". You can also buy a daily or weekly combined ticket to use on regional trains within the city boundaries.
The Conference will be held at the Department of Architecture and Design (DAD) of the University of Genova, located in the historic center of the city, within walking distance from Genoa’s Porto Antico area. The DAD building is a multi-purpose facility that hosts academic, research, and exhibition spaces. Its central location, combined with proximity to shops, restaurants, and museums, makes it a convenient and functional venue for hosting events.
Inside the “Department of Architecture and Design” there is an Auditorium with 350 seats , with different rooms with 50-200 seats each, with a stage conceived as a theatrical structure, which can be moved at various heights. All the rooms are equipped with the audio and video equipment. In addition to exhibition spaces and pleasant rooms that lend themselves to various uses.
